I don’t know about you, but as soon as the temperatures hit about 60 degrees, we like to pull out the grill. After getting snow, and then torrential downpour for a few days, the sun finally peeked out long enough for grilling Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, we didn’t clean the grill after our last use in the Fall so it not only had dust on the outside, but the inside was disgusting. Not a huge deal though because I have a secret weapon! I’m going to tell you the best way to clean your grill.
Please tell me we are not the only ones who sometimes forget to clean the grill!
It is pretty simple. We used a steamer! I have a SteamMachine for inside and I have the AutoRight SteamMachine for outside jobs. Since the grill is Shane’s domain, he cleaned it up and grilled the kabobs. He used the metal scrub brush attachment and it worked like a charm.
Meanwhile inside, I was making the kabobs. These are our favorite things to put on kabobs (chicken & beef chunks, red & green peppers, onions, pineapple, and small potatoes).
I like to brush on some BBQ sauce, especially with the chicken and pineapple! The other sauce I put on is made up of Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and rosemary. It is awesome on the chicken and potatoes!
Once the grill was cleaned and oiled, we were ready to cook up the kabobs.
HomeRight is offering up one Autoright SteamMachine! We also love using it for our vehicles. You can read more about how we cleaned up Shane’s commuter car here. Enter below using the Rafflecopter widget.
